I still support the idea of SC giving an achievement for maxing mines/collectors. It would increase loot in the system by a vast amount...

When you have 0 trophies and then went to attack someone also with 0 trophies, you would still gain or lose trophies at the end of the battle. These trophies aren't deducted from the opponent, since they have none, these are brand new trophies created into the system. This is what the guy in this tread is talking about, since trophies created cannot be lost, more trophies will be in the system and people will be able to accumulate more trophies and gain higher leagues for the league bonus (which also comes out of nowhere).
Tanking means that you get as low as possible, around zero, and just continuously lose every single battle to create more trophies in the system. Best way is to send in your hero and then surrender immediately, then repeat.
This may sound like a good solution...but new trophy is constantly being introduced into the system by new players everyday, you can tell because the record for most trophy is constantly being broken. All SC has to do is move up the requirements for each league. It is really silly to have Champ league at 3200 when the guys at the top has over 1200 above it. The trend was 400 trophies between bronze and silver league, then 600 between gold, crystal, master, and champ. Following this trend, the new league above champ should be at 3800 and then next at 4400.
