    Scattershot still active at dead bases

    Smoking artillery, unlit Infernos, unloaded x-bows, but the scattershots were still catapulting rocks, I thought it was updated to be re-loadable or will run out of ammunition? or a bug?

    It says in Clash Wikia that Scattershot runs out after 90 rounds, or shots.
    So the dead base you found probably the Scattershot still haven't depleted its 90 rounds.

    Thank you , I was only referring to the summer update patch notes. Didn't realize the wiki is updated regarding the entire info.

    according to the wiki,it will have 90 rounds worth of ammunition.
    hitspeed = 3.036 seconds
    therefore, time taken to run out = 90*3.036
    = 273.24 seconds
    = 4 mins 33 seconds
    compared to EA = 5 mins
    IT = 2 mins 8 seconds
    X-Bow = 3 mins 12 seconds

    In light of this I believe it may have not been engaged as much or were under upgrade while other defences were occupied
    Or may be it is a bug....

    Thanks for this, and you maybe right, it may not have been engaged that much like the other signature defenses, it was actually on the center of the village so maybe the attacking troops were already dying from the sides before they reach the 2 SS, having the rounds unused, so it kinda make sense.

    You also have to remember the scattershot range is much less than EA, and also less than an xbow on ground. So it will often be engaged for less time per defence than those are.

    But something I don't understand is why the 0.036 second increase in the scatter shot hit speed.Perhaps it's like (what it feels like)that microsecond of a gap between the troop being hit and it's attack.

    I have experienced this in the BB side where a super pekka is attacking a building and it is just about to do the attack but dies due to a defense
    firing.

    This wasn't an INCREASE, it was a DECREASE. The time between the thing getting shots off is just a tad longer than before....
