The Vault. “Defensive Bank Vault for recourses and goods?!?”
The Vault / Bunker
A Defense/Main building used to store your GEMS, GOLD, ELIXAR, DARK ELIXAR, Magical Items .
The building itself used defensively would be similar in size as the Town Hall. 4x4 square. This building could store player resources. I know the town hall and the CC currently has this ability but this would be used to store items and then lock them away for 72 Hours. Players would not be able to use those items until the timer is up. The higher the level the more items you could place inside. You could always add items but the timer would reset. Since this would be a very high target for attacking, this building could be hidden underground. This could give players the incentive to buy decretive items, To hide the vault. If the players wished to hide the vault under buildings they may do so as long as they leave a clear 2x2 center exposed. Hidden bombs can be place around the item as well. As long as they don’t cover the center.
When attacking a base with this building would be hidden from the attacker. It would only be revealed if the Town Hall has been destroyed. Once the attacking player sees the vault, said building could be attacked. If the town hall still stands and the attacking player dropped all troops on top of the vault nothing would happen. It is only when the town hall is attacked will the vault would be eligible to be raided.
To defend the vault, players could select a defensive spell to load into the defensive launcher. Here’s some Examples. After being attacked the selected spell would be created and deducted for the selected option. If the player has not selected a spell or has the elixir to create one the vault would explode like a Lava Mortar shell. If the blast didn’t kill troops then the lava scorching would deal damage. This would still happen if the vault is destroyed.
Lightning- Bolts of lightning
Healing - Heals building of damage sustained by attacking troops
Rage - Attacking Troops Attack Each Other
Freeze - Freezes troops and deals damage
Clone - Creates Defensive Troops based on the attacking troops
Poison - Well Poisons the troops
Earthquake - Damages Attacking Troops
Haste - As troops attack vault, there attacking strength is used against them
Skeleton - Spawns Defending Skeletons
Bat - Spawns Defending Bats
If defensive spells are not a good option then the vault could have a incinerator radius. Basically the defense could be an incinerator / inferno tower. Instead of attacking individuals targets it blasts three radial waves of fire. Starting at the center and working out 10 spaces away. This would affect troops in the air on the land and underground. If the troops approach the vault the wave would push troops back and burn them. After three waves The vault must recharge for 30 seconds.
After destroying the vault players have the reward of earning 5% in loot. This includes resources, gems and magical items. Since this would be a building needed on everyone’s war layout, the vault would take on a special assignment. One base on each attacking clan, will be randomly selected to hold some secret bonus war stars. Since the vault is revealed only after destroying the Town Hall, this would give players the insensitive to find the bonus star. If you win the bonus stars, your clan will win a total of three extra stars to add to the clan war. If all 3 are found the clan can receive bonus in, magical items via clan league points.
Since Barbarians, Archers and Goblins have been the main trio to the game it would only be fitting to add the Goblin Banker. This is the guy in-charge of defending your loot. Since this is a bank you could share your resources with the clan. It won’t be a lot of funds or goods, but it could let players give gifts of not just troops but of resources. I was thinking of a loan system in game but that was the whole point to gems. If you wish to donate resources you must have the 1 Gem Donations option from the gold pass. If you don’t standard transactions could be will be 5 gems for 100,000 in resources. That would also be capped out at 10 transactions a day.
