Be active, friendly, and mature. Age doesn't matter as long as you exhibit these 3 qualities.
Have fun and chat with clanmates.
Use all your attacks in war.
Get at least 2000 medals in clan games (but try to max out at 4000).
Try your best to donate as much as you get (mainly applies to TH9+).
Promotions are earned based on several factors, such as war performance, donation ratio, loyalty, and other aspects of clan engagement/dedication. That said, don’t ask for promotions. They will come as you put in the work.
