I'm farming currently but I'm coming to the end of th 8 so I'm going to so a push in maybe a week or 2.

Although farming is very useful and I can get a lot of upgrades done in a short period sometimes, it's more interesting and fun (although frustrating) to go on a little push to see how much further I can get, or the game in my opinion could begin to stagnate in a constant loop of raiding easy targets. Therefore i find it great to mix things up a bit.

Well since I finished walls, got to where I wanted when I started the game ~1,5 years ago (core to lvl10, layer 2 and 3 to lvl8) I do healer/wizard/giants every 56 minutes and averaging one rage spell per attack.

Slightly faster DE gains, making 1500~ on average per raid, definitively slower gold gains, but with these build times... Got nothing shorter than a week now so even with overlapping defenses building I need only average like a million gold PER DAY. That's nothing.

IF I wanted to do more walls though I'd be forced to barch, which I am terribly tired of.

agreed. I am coming close now to where I would like my walls to be, and the only way I do not completely put the phone down is mixing it up. I have been raiding as much as possible recently to do more defenses as mine are lacking some what ( using barch ), but now I think I am just going to complete my walls, and then push, doing whatever defense structure I can on the way.

It's the only thing that keeps me going, even my clan has died down a lot, but I have too many friends to move on from them.. They are great people after all.

I chose other. Since I'm new to the game (been playing for a month now, only got myself to almost max out th6 - wiz tower and army camp pending). I'm neither farming, nor pushing (just at 1250-1300). Almost all the upgrades are cheaper as of now. So I don't have to do either. I was curious to get till 1250, as I need those 450 gems, which might help me get my 4th builder as I'm not spending any gems on the game as of now.

I'm farming up my new TH9, once I get my walls and other new buildings a bit higher up, I'll be going for Masters.

I'll go with the Ballonion Strategy.
