So how’s this CWL going?

This time our cwl looks very competitive.
Last month we managed to stay in master 3 at no.3 rank.
This time all clans roster looks like all th13's are present there. So i expect every war full of 15 th13's

In our first war, we have 11/4 and our first enemy clan has 14/1, Looking very tough and challenging week ahead.

Well, its that time again guys and girls.. September 2020 CWL.
Our draw in Cr1 is done.. And oh dear once again.. But not as steep as last month.

We arent the lightest this time.. Unless day 3 is max 13s.. but looking like a long week ahead.

Lol, good luck ... ours is looking similar to last month, so hopefully we’ll be OK again (running 7/5/3) ... aiming for the usual, ie 2nd/3rd place. Saving Masters for after Christmas, I think by then we’ll be ready to go up and compete rather than struggle

Doing a C3 with some bases, and a gold 1, haven't spun the gold 1 yet. The match in C3 looks good, probably win 6 wars there.

Master 1 30 vs 30, yesterday we had our first tie that went to total destruction to determine a winner. This bracket looks like we will have to try to manage our stars in order not to advance to a Champion 3. This is the second Master 1 30 vs 30 in a row where one clan has really low town halls, either they had a mass exodus or they are just trying to demote.

I wonder if Supercell is going to make a Titan League for CWL? It would be nice if Champion 3 had 30 vs 30 wars. As far as the last several Master 1 30 vs 30, it is very tough. Basically, it is close to all Max town hall 13’s, for the clans who have a full roster and are trying to win.

We received news our #1 isnt participating, but still need her base..
4 missed attacks later, absolutely creamed and last..
Looking like 2 or 3 missed attacks day 2, but are only behind 6th on goal difference (destruction) with 2 hours left..
If the others dont have a late flurry of attacks, things wont be so bad leading into day 3, and the shoot out for potentially last place against the other lightweights in the group..

getting our butts kicked. Last month came close to getting promoted. This month, at least 3 clans with 30 th13s. Maybe more. Being as creative as we can but not pretty.

Our first attack was a zero star from #11 (15v, 1st season in Masters 3) & every single clanmate from #10 upwards, bar one, attacked their mirror; the bar one was a missed attack. Furious! Lost 23-28, but should have been much closer & a win was feasible if unlikely, but definitely feasible with smarter play.

I've been on at them for months to get away from the obsession that their mirror is theirs and no-one else's. But having risen through 5 leagues, they just won't be told that what worked then won't work now. But they seem to think that Moses descended from Mount Sinai with a third tablet: #11, thou shalt always attack thy opposite number in Clash; #12, thou shalt not covert thy clanmate's mirror; etc...

So I've taken myself out of tomorrow's war & opted out of the rest of the campaign. Might seem a bit drastic, but I don't see the point of trying to lead a clan that won't be led. They can learn, for themselves, the hard way that "mirrors" doesn't pass for tactics at this level. If it shakes out any lingering resentment that I got promoted to Leader five weeks ago & not someone who feels they should have; it's a bonus.

Made the mistake of leaving my solo clan (Silver 2) with a dozen very new 9s open after I'd been helping elsewhere with Clan Games. 3 other accounts were there; a 5, a 6 (both inactive) & a decent 9 (who; ultimately filled the CC's), so what the hell I spun even though I was planning on parking those accounts for a while. Won the first war 38-14 against a "tadpole" clan: a couple of heavyweights with a long, thin tail. Totally outgunned today (3/4/3/3/2), but should easily pick up another couple of wins, maybe more, from low participation clans. I'd begun to forget how much I enjoyed TH9, so having a blast with those minis. Probably kept me from rage quitting my main clan!

That must be like a disaster. Try to check the activity of all players before taking them in roster. Feels bad for you mate

Same goes for us in master 3 (15 vs 15). Last time we did well but this time the opponents are like they should have been in master 1 or champs. All max th13's along with fully maxed heroes. We are crushed in all the wars till now and looks like we will be demoted. Now i feel that these th12 and rushed th13 should not be there but what can i do, we don't have many maxers.

BUT happy on the other hand as we would be too strong for crystal 1 next time and can get back again in masters. Also getting no.1 will allow us to give more bonus medals.

First season in C1, it is definitionally a big step up from C2 .On paper, we look to be the 6th strongest clan, so I expect that's where we'll end up. The first clan we faced ran a 5/3/2/3/2, so I suspect they're sandbagging. No missed attacks so far, so no complaining from me lol.
