It's not challenging in crystal 2. We aren't even doing well by a long shot, we pulled 20 stars in today's... And still 2nd by a long margin. Too many teams with a poor attack rate. Only one team from 6 has used all 15 attacks. Today's hasn't attacked at all and historically only used 3 in 4 others.

First, warring with 5 accounts sounds very not fun to me. 2 is enough for me. In m3 30v30, our 11s and 12s will easily get 8 stars. Other than the 1 or 2 who missed attacks and got removed. Personally, medals are wasted for th8 and 9. I just hoarded bench medals on my mini. When it was 10, we were crystal 1, maybe even 2 and it was useful. It got full medals and hammers were worth the cost. Its now a heavy 12. Probably going to 13 after April cwl.

I wish that in the past years I had stopped at 2 accounts ... although then I'd probably be part of the 'I'm maxed, I need to be grumpy' crowd, who knows... By now I have to have a spreadsheet for my CWL attacks in 3 clans...

We were averaging low to mid 20s first 3 wars and sitting in 7th place in crystal 2..
have won the 4th and 5th now that everybody is doing their attacks and pulled away from the bottom..
But no chance of top two with a hit rate of pushing on 30 average thru 5 days..

Weight is always one of our problems..
Those that do regular war are weight conscious so wont upgrade..
Those that upgrade dont do war..
we expected to bounce straight back up to crystal 1 this season.. Is turning out to be a frustrating disappointment.

lol mate.. Your spin strategy is exactly what I envisioned when the format first started.. I totally agree with your philosophy.

To be fair, we probably started spinning too late in day 2, and started find the clans that were hunting the easier ride.. No offense meant.. We were doing the same.
As we rose, our weight became an issue, so we are where we are as a clan..
We found that it didnt matter when we spun, luck of the draw was still a major factor in our destiny.

This season, we spun regular with 1 day left before sign up started..
So I would guess we entered at the end of cay 1 or beginning of day 2.. Wasnt present so not too sure.
But most of the rosters are quite big, although nothing like crystal 1 last season..
We have seen 1 or 2 th10s, which are non existent in Cr 1 at 15v war size.

Am left somewhat disappointed tho, because we hit a wall at Cr2 for a while, then made the break thu to Cr 1..
Was hoping to solidify our place in Cr 1 soon, but I guess activity and giving a damn isnt quite at the level yet.

I don't quite understand your comment here, as weight does not play a role in CWL (assuming the thread title is misspelled ).

If anything weight is an advantage, as others have mentioned, as better defences make it easier to survive.

To OP: Crystal 1 and 2 are quite different. We tend to fluctuate between the two. It often depends on how many of our th12/13s are available, and we fill up with various other TH levels (including occasionally a th9 or 2, depending on how the season is going).
I still enjoy it, and we have some people who only war during CWL, so I guess I'm not the only one. We don't mind losing and dropping down, although missed attacks are very irritating.

I just find any mention of weight in discussions of CWL difficult, because so many have still not worked out that weight does not affect the matches (no matchmaking here).
