So how’s this CWL going?

Finished 3w 4l for 5th place. Not bad. Got to work up our new 12s and 13s and convince people 50% 2 star beats 99% 1 star all day, every day.

15v15 in Crystal 3. After being demoted 2 seasons in a row was looking for a better time this month.

Settled into a 2/5/5/3 roster towards the end. Started the week with only 1 10 for the first 2 wars (war 2 was against the top clan). I tried to put in some more 10s against one of the bottom clans on day 3, but had 3 no shows. So settled for the 3 active ones the rest of the way.

Ended up taking 2nd and going 5-2 with the second most destruction percentage. The top clan went 7-0 and there were 3 clans that went 5-2. Our clan prevailed by scoring the most or second most stars against every other clan.

Crystal 2 is likely going to pose a challenge with roughly the same line up. I have a near max th 12 and max th 11 alt accounts I can put in to give us a little boost, but I prefer other gain the medals if they are willing to participate.

I moved over to our sister clan that's more competitive in CWL. Ended up taking 1st place by a comfortable 22 star lead, moving up to Masters 2 now

Heartbreaker for us. After over a year in Masters1 trying to get into Champs, we tied the first place team in stars, but they had more % so we needed just one more star (or more %) to finally make it to Champs. Our 3 star rate was 21% (boosted by 50% in one war against the last place team which included th12s) and 1 star rate was 4%. Our enemies had a 3 star rate against us of 14% and a 1 star rate of 17%. For those not familiar with Masters1, the teams are usually all th13s, but not close to all max. The bottom half of each team is usually not max and the bottom 1/4 is usually pretty rushed. Our own 3 star rate of 21% was boosted up in that one war by facing 2 or 3 th12s and a couple very low th13s that made for easy 3s.

Second place in Masters1 again for December season. There was one clan that was very underpowered (a former Champs clan so either they broke apart or have multiple clans). Excluding that clan, enemy 3 star rate against us was 14%. Much of that is against our weak th13s. Our 3 star rate was 20%, again more on the lower th13s.

This CWL we are in Master 3 30 vs 30 and we went 7 and 0. We rotate weak bases in now so advancing is not our goal, I didn’t want to advance this CWL but the clans were just too weak for that to be feasible. I foresee Master 2 being a little more difficult so maybe we can camp out in there for the foreseeable future.

I wish we could say it was on purpose. We've been trying for a long time to get into Champs3. Our low accounts that used to be th12s are now progressed to early th13s and our early th13s are mid th13s, etc. so we are stronger, but so is everyone else. With this roster a year ago we would have progressed out of M1 easily. Oh well, we will try again next month.

Main Clan Finished with 5th in Champs 1 with 3 win 4 losses. We were bad in last two wars getting only 6 and 5 triples respectively. Hopefully we can do better next month.
2nd Clan in Champs 3 finished first with 6win and 1 loss and got promoted to Champs 2. The last war was interesting where we needed to beat the 2nd place clan by a margin of 3 stars to get promoted . We got some clutch triples at the end to win the war 37-34.
3rd Clan in Champs 3 finished 4th with 4 win and 3 losses. We could have been 3rd if not for a missed hit in last round.
4th Clan in Master 1 (30v30) won all wars quite comfortably and finished 1st ,beating 2nd place clan by a margin of more than 60 stars.

All in all, it was a decent CWL week . I am glad its finally over and I can relax a bit now :)

We survived CR1 with a roster with about 116 average gold weight and only 3 th13s. 6th place finish- but overall my clan now has an idea about the challenge next month and got good practice on attacking higher halls. Would say it's a successful season.

We had 6 wars so far and won all of them however we are third place? I get it but it's weird to look at.
