So how’s this CWL going?

We finished in 4th place in Champs 3 with winning 4 wars & losing 3. 3rd, 4th, and 5th places were all tied in stars, but different total damage percentages.

This is the third month in a row we've finished in 4th place. Which is both good and bad.

Good because it shows we are in our "zone" but also bad because we want to move up in leagues, which means improving our attacks, our 3 star rate, and our base designs, which takes time.

Hopefully we'll get promoted soon.

After well over a year in Masters1, including placing in 2nd place the last several months, my clan finally took first to get promoted to Champs3. Last month we won every war and took second. This month we lost two wars and took first. It's odd how that works. Just like the last several months, the 3 star rate against us was right around 15%. We bumped our own 3 star rate up to 30%. As usual, most of those were on less developed bases or bad designs, but we will take it. Overall 3 star rate for the whole group was 19%. We expect to get beat up bad next month.

Yep, 13 or 14 months in Masters1, with 4 months in a row at 2nd place. I know some clans do that on purpose to get medals. I can't say that about us, though, we've been trying to take first every time! Next month will be a blood bath probably.

First time in Crystal 1. I have decided that it’s possibly the worst league of all. Our roster is composed of 9/3/3 yet we were outmatched in all but one war. The only saving grace is that we got lucky in the last war and finished 6th to avoid getting demoted. My guess is that we won’t have a chance of making to Master 3 unless we fill our roster with more TH13. Given that only one clan gets promoted from Crystal 1, the league is overpacked with casual TH13 players.

We finished 7th in Crystal 1 with a 4/5/5/1 breakdown..
Our usual #1 was away on business, another 13 couldnt be bothered, and a 12 lost access to his account.. The latter gone forever.

The tier is getting quite heavy now, and we went with the heaviest we had available..
But it will be a long way back for us now.. We have a mix of classic war players that dont like to upgrade, and rushers that would like to think hall colour is more important than being able to play.

GL going forward mate.. With that breakdown you should be able to stay above water most seasons, but I guess you already found out TH11 is getting a little rare within the group.. those guys need to be busy over the next 3 weeks.

If you were out gunned with that lineup then your TH13s might be rushed. We finished 2nd this season running mostly 8/5/2 and with better coordination on D7 could have won the league despite being out gunned D7 to the clan that got promoted to masters. Though we may have drawn an easy pool.

for reference we’ve been in Crystal 1 since last May. I think next season we’ll likely be able to run 10/5 lineup and have chance for promotion depending on our pool. Some seasons there are a couple clans that got demoted from masters that seem to run an all 13 lineup or close to it, but fortunately it’s not every clan in the pool that is like that.

had we got promoted it would have looked nice with the badge but I’m pretty sure we’d have been curb stomped in masters 3 so I’m not too sad we remain in Crystal 1

We finished 2nd in master 3 and won all wars this time. Seemed easier this cwl than the last for some reason. We ran a 12/3 line up. Swapped bottom 12s around to give them all a run. Most clans we came across had all 13s. The bottom ones are often so rushed. Gee there r some terrible bases out there lol. One clan had a th9 at the bottom. That was an odd sight. Fair to say they weren't really competing and looking to drop.

Anyone here with experience moving up from M1 to C3? We are staring our first ever Champs CWL and expect to get destroyed. Luck of the draw in terms of who we get grouped with matters a lot of course, but I'm thinking 0-2 wins should be our expectation?

My clan has been in Champs 3 for 3 months now.
We first hit champs 3 back in July and our August cwl we barely avoided demotion. September, we did get demoted.

What can you expect? Pretty much all max or near-max th13s for every clan. Expect to see a lot of 3 stars against you. The top clans in your league will be getting 38+ stars each war.
If you want to avoid demotion, you'll need close to 30 stars each war.

The last 3 cwls we've finished 4th each time and our star total was 267; 278; and 270, so our average stars per war were: 38; 39; and 38. And that was enough to get 4th. Our last cwl there was a 3 way tie for 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
