So how’s this CWL going?

6 matches down and we are 4 and 2 in Master 1 30 vs 30. That isn’t too good considering 3 of the clans are trying to lose, one clan actually has FWA bases set up for war. That is the first time I have ever seen that in CWL. The last war will be close, not counting the clans trying to lose the past few CWL, Master 1 is steadily getting stronger. For the clans actually trying to win, it’s basically 30 maxed town hall 13’s for all 30 bases in Master 1.

Day 4: we usually go M2 15v and sit comfortably mid pack with either full 13s or a couple of lowers for stars. This time we opted for 30v with 20ish th13s and rest 12s with 1 11 as we had some folks who didnt like being the roster but not getting a chance to star. We are in 7th spot with four losses and no prospect of a single win so will be demoting to M3 and try and figure out if we want to stay 30v or go back to 15v and promote back to M2.

M2 30v is all TH13 land in case anyone is wondering.

We got our heads handed to us last month in m3 with a roster a bit lighter than than. Fewer 13s and ran 4 11s. But we are too heavy for cr1. Could be in for a spell of bouncing up and down until the cr1 m3 boundary stabilizes.

From what I have seen in M1/2 in 15v since cwl began, I would expect that stabilization will look like M3 30v becoming more top TH heavy and those with less than a full roster of TH13 will be pushed downwards Into crystal. Nothing wrong with that per se but just putting the expectation out there for folks who several months from now are full rostered and sitting in M3 and not promoting.

Currently, Bronze 3 with 15 TH3/4/5s in my one-man clan lol. Getting promoted to Bronze 2 easily. Going to bring in the big accounts to Bronze 2 next CWL. Would be fun to destroy the opposition with all bases 5-9 townhalls higher than the opposition's, lol :-)

Any clan doing GOLD I, for the past 4 CWL we are in GOLD I, but this time 6 clans with 50%th13 and other maxed th11, how do you fare my fellow players

This time we will be promoted to master 2, and it feels the same when our stratagies helps to win👇

It feels satisfied when our lower players (my minis) double the top bases and top players (our main accounts) triple the lower bases.

One thing which surprised me this season was we lost by a "clan" who has lost all other wars. We did some mistakes as we lost by % but we didn't expected enemy to bounce back so strongly that too by a clan which was loosing all their wars.

Now last war is with clan at last position and looks like we will be master 2 for sure now.

As a start.. Nice scoring mate, especially in the Cr2 group..
Is anecdotal evidence, but the weights in that group seem pretty level, whereas the Gold leagues are all over the place..
Funny enough, we are also Cr2, and our weights would also mix well with what you have..

Maybe the weight lines are settling.. As I said, small sample, but interesting indeed.

Crystal has been more balanced than gold for awhile, IME. This is because in Gold you have huge heavy lineups that do 1/2 of their attacks. whereas if they did all their attacks even poorly they would be 2 tiers higher. I'm also pretty certain that poor clan on day 1 with total weight of 567 got placed way too high and is dropping intentionally. They were gold 2 last season.

OK, so finished up with rankings and all sorts of other information. A few things I noted:

1. Our Gold3 clan that was 7th out of 8 clans as far as gold weight, finished 2nd and promoted. We beat 3rd place by 3 stars even though they had more than 250,000 higher gold weight. They only did 80% of their attacks (vs our 91%) and likely did not play optimally.

2. I have a theory that some clans do more attacks against our gold 3 clan because we are so weak and easy to pick on for easy stars and loot. In some cases this seemed it may be the case.

3. Our Crystal 2 clan easily promoted. We ran 5/2/8 most of the way, but occasionally swapped a 10 in at the bottom, and the last 2 wars we ran 4/1/9/1. Our clan's gold weight was 4th out of the 8 clans.

4. In Crystal 2, the second heaviest clan I believe is sandbagging and intentionally finishing middle of the road. They know what they are doing and are good attackers. We only lost to them because we pulled our top 13 and a 12 to allow other lower accounts to get medals, but they also suddenly decided to do all their attacks. I think they were trying to prove something against us...not sure what though LOL. Another thing - they finished 5th overall but finished 2nd to us in destruction, well ahead of the 3rd place destruction.

5. Another interesting thing - the last 3 wars almost seemed like we had a target on our back. Those three opponents did 44/45 attacks while doing only about 88% of their attacks in the rest of their wars.

Ended up 4th in G2, which was sort of acceptable given a roster of 50% TH9s.

But my TH12 got completely humiliated! Running an anti-ED design, which usually only gives away a low 1-star, got 3-starred by... valks and golems... honestly who uses valks!?

HaHa.. We often do at TH9 and 10.. If walls dont get in the way, they do a job.

We went 5/2 in Cr2, finishing 3rd.. Look like we were 2nd heaviest in group, but not quite up to pushing straight back to Cr1..
Mixed emotions about that one.. Our #1 only dummy defense for 2nd season.. Lost a war thru no show, but activity was pretty good overall.
234 medals does us.. kids got 7 bonus awards handed down.. and Cr2 is much easier than Cr1 for our level..
Most are done now till next season, and back to regular spin for the foolhardy few.
