July’s long CWL search thread

We started to research 32hs ago at this moment and we haven't gotten a match yet. We are in champions League II.

Whats your longest cwl search? ok so there's one of these every cwl and this time its me. I have faith that we will match up after reading previous threads on this issue. And I thing our long search may be also because is "high risk" this league. We recently lost a few th13 so we started a new league to try to get matched maybe into a tier lower or two without losing to get there as we like to win more than get a few more medals. So our clan having no previous war history 9 th13 4 th12 and 4 th11 is having trouble finding a match. 7½h currently. My concern as we had to wait to get everyone in is that at 9h point signup is over how long will it keep searching to make sure we aren't being dodgy?

Once the 2 day search period is over, you will definitely find a match. Still no reports of anyone that wasn't able to find a match by the end of the 2 days so don't worry.

As for my longest CWL search, I've experienced multiple occasions where we didn't match until the end of the 2 day search period. That is just the nature of Champs 1/2 and having a small pool of clans to match from.

Searching 7½h doesnt seem so bad now as long as we all get matched up I dont mind how long it takes.

Don't stop the search, you'll be matched - if not sooner, it will be at the time the search period ends... and it might be with less than 7 other clans....

Just for reference, as everyone left matches as the window closes..
But for those whom spin for the first time, the weight of the heaviest 15 or 30 accounts enrolled is simply used to decide which tier you are placed in..
Roster break down has no bearing whatsoever in cwl, since it is an unweighted system.. Anything goes.

After that, you are put into the matching pool same as everyone else..
Once the pool fills up, the clans contained within are randomly placed into groups..
Those left when the window shuts are matched together, although a group of 8 can not be guaranteed at this point.

PS.. The matching pool system is used to prevent collusion as much as possible, therefore it is unlikely the matching pool fully empties, even once filled..
So with this in mind, even a clan that starts cwl spin early may be waiting a long time, if they are one of the unlucky ones left in the pot.

Disclaimer.. I have no official confirmation the pool doesnt fully empty, but if it does, then they cant prevent clans from spinning in the last few minutes to greatly increase their chances of matching together.
