Once you click it, it will just take seconds before you realize its gone, another possible reason for accidental removal or accidental clicks generally even if you are totally aware of your screen is sweaty thumbs, sweat trigger multiple points on your screen against your will.

There's no downside and it kinda make sense, so why not?
But there is a downside. SC has to now put hours into a new feature of their game, that's pointless to begin with, and the shovel they took time to create is now deemed practically worthless.

I think its always pointless to always assume SC's side without any official response from them.

Shovel lets you move obstacles, not prohibits you from some accidental removal right?

How about if the shovel can be used to move the decoration to the storage like the static decorations that we have. It is also kind of a moving of object.

Why take a liberty away from every other player to make you happy?

The only issue is there would Have to be an option to remove the object or else you could become overburdened with static obstacles.. there should be a solution tho. You should be able to use the ‘shovel’ to move item into farthest perimeter.. and in this perimeter they’d become unremovable. If you wish you later remove the object, you would have to use a shovel first and move it back into the available building grounds and remove it normally. Its an added safeguard that requires a fairly elaborate removal process thus removing the accidental click/remove issue. What Say You Supercell!?

I'm sure Supercell would agree this is a terrible idea.
