I think you guys are missing the point here,It doesn't take an hour "to painstakingly recreate a base"It can be done in 15 minutes or so,And because there is no time limit on revenge i could recreate their base actually quite easily and attack it every 30 minutes until ive found the perfect army combo to demolish you,This gives me a massive advantage that IMO just shouldn't be possible.Dont get me wrong i do like the idea itself but attacking your base every 30 mins will inevitably promote abuse of revenges.Im not sure of a fix to this problem but its not my idea,and to not take this into account is detrimental to the idea itself and it ever becoming anymore than that...Just an idea

Revenging someone does have a time limit. I would suggest that you aren't allowed to test your base if it is exactly the same (not including decorations or builders huts) as someone in your attack log, but that would probably be too hard to code for supercell...

Have you read the last post from each of us yet?We are having a constructive discussion on your idea,You havent put anything else into the discussion so i will just assume you really dont care about it or else you would have preferred to have this discussion and generate some ideas on it....if you actually read our last posts we are back on track and still discussing,However i will just leave it at that as you arent trying to promote meaningful discussion and it looks to me like its a dying idea anyway....Thanks for your input have a nice day

I have been reading your discussions. However, it seems as though you are leaning towards an argument, and that you might not be too happy with some of the comments that are being made.

It's going to be pretty rare to find a base that is the exact same town hall, has the exact same level defenses, and the exact same level walls. All of these factors determine the outcome of a battle, so I think that it would be a rare incident for someone to be able to EXACTLY replicate a base.

Just to reiterate, in master and above once someone logs off, it is almost an instant shield. Revenges wont happen because they simply cannot happen. I don't have any evidence or articles I can link you too, but feel free to talk to any champs.

Thanks for pointing me here Julez. I hope your thread makes a difference. Its a great idea and theres no harm in it. I guarantee if SC did push this through then all the people hating on the idea would use it.
