I think you guys are missing the point here,It doesn't take an hour "to painstakingly recreate a base"It can be done in 15 minutes or so,And because there is no time limit on revenge i could recreate their base actually quite easily and attack it every 30 minutes until ive found the perfect army combo to demolish you,This gives me a massive advantage that IMO just shouldn't be possible.Dont get me wrong i do like the idea itself but attacking your base every 30 mins will inevitably promote abuse of revenges.Im not sure of a fix to this problem but its not my idea,and to not take this into account is detrimental to the idea itself and it ever becoming anymore than that...Just an idea

Sorry, my last post had a cut off sentence apparently; revenging does not occur often above crystal, better active bases, lack of a loot reward and typically they have a shield right away. This would only 'abuse' those typically in gold and silver, where farming should be frowned upon. I don't understand the issue here? If someone wants to spend 15 minutes or even longer as you say to take out my base, feel free too. I don't have the time nor the patience to care about revenging someone like this. Your resources are up for grab, it's not like it makes more available.

You've got to be kidding???Revenges happen in EVERY trophy range and would happen even more so if you could hone your skills on their base before hand.Also there are way more players below crystal than there are a over so that argument is invalid...And what does farming should be frowned upon mean?Your problem here is that you are looking at this from your perspective only and not the idea as a whole.Imaging the implications in champion league in the top 100 players where one gets a massive advantage to take back trophies taken?Pretty much every one of your arguments are invalid or misinformed.And yes your loot would become more freely available as i now have a massive advantage in training for this revenge instead of maybe revenging and messing it up badly

Incorrect. Above master 3, attacks are almost instant after someone logs off. Revenging does not occur here because you simply just cant, nor is there a league bonus for revenging thus making it less profitable. This can pertain to crystal as well, albeit, not as quick. Obviously there is a lsrger population in gold and silver, hopefully this wouls change the way people farm! When I say farming should be frowned upon; in a game where the ultimate goal is to be first place with 'trophies', we should constantly be going for this, correct? The fact is we farm lower than our ability suggests and pick on bases much, much weaker than our own. You always had the ability to revenge someone and look over their base previously and the whole idea of revenging is to get a 3 star. This simply cannot be abused as often as you say because someone would be putting in a LOT of time to plan out each attack for each revenge. So what if you take out 400/400 from me, we should be able to raid that back within an hour or two.

You are still only seeing this from your perspective and disregarding the most important arguments that actually disprove this being a good idea.Just because you dont get many revenges doesnt make them any less common!And you are completely wrong that farming should be frowned upon!Hundreds of people on these forums will disagree with you,There is no argument to dispute it you are WRONG...Simple..I am of the opinion that if as you say revenges are less common then they would be more likely to revenge you and get back their trophies or loot or pride (lol) if they had a better chance of winning against you..Why should anyone have a greater advantage in raiding?You raid me you get some loot and some trophies i get angry study your base for an hour and 3 star you easily because my advantage heavily outweighs yours,Now whether this would happen a lot or not is irrelevant it still stands as an unfair advantage.Now I'm not gonna reply to you anymore because you are not discussing pros and cons but rather sticking to and defending your opinion (regardless of how misinformed it may be)....Id like to see how some champions would feel about this unfair advantage being used against them,As i believe it would affect them quite a lot where winning or losing has major implications

Failing to comprehend or failing to agree with your opinion which your will not falter from?Also trying to paint me as childish and ignorant is just downright inflammatory,No where in my reply was i any of these.I know i said i wouldnt reply but for you to state these things is totally uncalled for.And also you saying that revenges dont occur,Is that to you or is that everyone?Is that a broad generalisation or is it based on actual fact and or proof

Here is what I think based on that. Chances are if someone is willing to dedicate that much time into a revenge, chances are they know what they are doing already or at least, they will be coming at you with everything they got. Assuming your base is good enough to require a tier 2/3 attack to 3 star it, best case scenario barring complete failures, they are bound to take half of your base no matter what. I believe your sig says you are a th 8, no offence man but any th 8 or up could probably three star you easily already. Not insulting your base or yourself, that is just how th 8 works. Spam hogs, dragons, balloons etc.

yeah i understand what you're saying about th8's compare to higher THs and i totally agree with that,However i wasnt looking at this idea from the perspective of where my base stands in comparison to others as you are right 9s and 10s have a distinct advantage over me and the idea would have less of an impact in this environment of TH9/10 attacking TH8...Where my point lies is the advantage of being able to test a base before revenging and having a much greater chance of being succesful in the higher levels of trophies master 2 and up and the implications they could have in the much higher top level champions trophy count,Now obviously being a th8 this is still only an opinion however i think it may still be a relevant argument.Now i also agree that if someone putting so much time and effort into it and being smart enough to recognize failures and successes in how to attack the base then it might not have as much as an impact as they are probably likely to do well anyway without it.
