Thread: Advanced Fishing Event (Thurs-Sun)

  1. #1

    Post Advanced Fishing Event (Thurs-Sun)

There will be an Advanced Fishing Event this week running from Thurs-Sun. This is slightly different from the previous Lure Fishing Events in that special decorations will also be awarded. These fishing events are the only times when you can catch the 6 specialty fish in all 4 weight classes, so stock up on purple, blue, green, and red lures and use your fishing boosters to maximize your rewards. Good luck!

Shame there are some vile comments on the main Facebook Hay Day page of many people threatening to boycott the game as the event prize offends them. 😂

Pfff, thats dumb. I hope they boycott and never come back, no hate is needed in this game (or anywhere for that matter).

I saw that. Ninety-nine percent of replies on Facebook are nothing but complaining. I am starting to think that I am the only person who appreciates what a great game it is for free. I know I'm not but it seems that I am the only one who vocal about it.

I just looked at the official HD FB page and didn't see any announcements. Then I looked at HD subreddit and someone reposted a controversial tweet for discussion. Apparently, some players think the reward for winning the global fishing event will be a decoration for a rainbow flag, a symbol of LGBTQ pride.

For those who don't know, LGBTQ Pride Month is celebrated in June in the United States. Kudos to Team Hay Day for raising awareness.
