Okay so let's do the math. Every cwl including bonus gives you around 100 cwl points
To get to 1000 you need 10 months.
To get to 2000 you need 10 months more
So you Need 20 MONTHS TO GET 1 SUPER TROOP

Super troops are for endgame town halls, most people in the endgame are in a big clan that can match against the master or champion CWL leagues and earn 350-500+ tokens per CWL not including bonuses.

How do u figure this? Because someone higher in the endgame could spend his heavily earned tokens to buy something special for ever, my idea makes it to where u cannot just buy all the super troops permanently in one go anyway due to a large purchase cooldown time, including the amount of CWL tokens u have to save up, the idea would make saving up and buying a permanent troop worth the grind and focus put into the endgame.

This wouldn’t defeat the purpose because new super troops would be added before someone could even permanently unlock them all, if only the token idea is added in u could only obtain 1 super troop permanently unlocked per 5 months at the very least amount of time and saving.

So let's consider your point even If max players gets 300 cwl points it will take six months to permanently buy a super troops by that time 2 update would have arrived and everyone will use their medal for upgrading thus no will even bother get to buy super troops permantely thus your idea will of no use
