    Suppose I caught a heavier asp, even though I have the platinum. Wouldn’t the “heaviest” change anyway?

    Pardon my dumb Asp question, but does the "biggest catch" only show the last category caught? (In this case platinum). What if you caught the platinum Asp before another heavier Asp? Wouldn't that show as your biggest catch?

    Edit- I guess that was WP's point

    Thank you OP for starting the thread because you got me to look in my fishing book for the asp. My biggest catch is 2.382.

    However, I flipped through the book and claimed 16 diamonds from the previous biggest catches of other fish!

    Yes. The weight listed in your Fishing Book will be the heaviest you've ever caught.
