Yes! I'm currently trying to farm (I'm TH 8) in the 1500 range but I can't find any good raids with high loot or inactive bases!

Its difficult to find good raids after the 1-gem boost.

I'm TH 8, all my builders are busy and I'm farming skulls. Loot is great for me, I found the best loot is at 1500. I've now moved up to 1600 (gold II) to farm DE, almost at 25k for my lvl 7 BK.
Loot has been no problem, I have 3M in storage right now because since all builders are busy, can't do skulls right this moment.
elexir is a by product of my BAM raids, because they are so cheap, so I train Dragons and pekkas for my clan mates, cause really if not it's just wasted.

I myself and other people seem to be doing good with the loots.

Just keep searching and be patient.

I don't know how much this will help since I'm th9, but I'm finding more and more th7s with 175k gold. As a th8 id imagine that be more than that, and be an easy targer for you th8s.
