The obvious option is to let them put their items up first. Another option is to use someone who posts and trades on the forum a lot, they are not likely to scam you because they want to continue trading with people. Hope that helps.

You can PM and ask them to return your stuff or complete the trade. But it's very rare that something like that happens, and it usually turns out to be a hardware or software issue, or a RL problem, and they will almost always come back to you, to explain and make it right. Whatever you do, don't come on the forum giving their name. Doing a "name and shame" is against the forum rules, precisely because problems like this are so rarely intentional. And they are extremely rare period.

Well if someone rips ya off there is not much ya could do. However you could make a post in this thread that they did and then others would be very reluctant to trade with them.
all of us have risked it several times with no troubles, but it is a possibility.

I guess ya could go one item at a time back and forth but I think a lot of people would turn that idea down.

just earlier I traded someone 60 bolts taking the risk of going 1st but all was fine.


p.s. there is always the option of hiring some puter geeks to do some ♥♥♥♥ing and a few other illegal things to find the person that scammed you. Then you could travel to there home and stomp them for scamming you for a board

The convention is that the person with the lower level in HayDay sells first. I know I was nervous the first few times I traded and sold first, but everything went fine. I think there's more often a problem of some random person doing a "drive by", but if you just make sure neither party has an active ad in the DD, it's also very rare.

Well to be honest you trade at your own risk. These trades are not overseen by Supercell and if someone rips you off you cant blast them on the forums but in my trading I havent had a single problem. The higher level usaly gkes first and if your unsure and trading alot lf items yoj can sugest tradi g a few at a time and go back and forth that way. Then once you make alot lf trades you will have plenty of friends tl trade with and you can just message them tk trade again. Good luck and happy farming.
