I wouldn’t if where you but if you’re insistent I’d buy loads of Training Potions �� & Farm like Made for those Resources to Fund your Heroes.

I agree. You can buy 4 hero books for 2,000 gems. I think there are 4 hero books in a 40 day trader cycle.

There is no better deal than those hero books from the trader, that is the way to go. Here’s a link to the trader cycle. Shouldn’t take more than a couple days to figure out where you are on it and when hero books are offered.

I think there was a pretty long thread on this discussion not too long ago, like sometime in the past month. I don't think there is a wrong answer to how CWL medals should be spent but how they are spent depends a lot on play style.
I will say most of my CWL medals earned were used on upgrading my heroes and I for one don't regret that decision one bit.
I have occasionally used medals on buildings, troops, or spells when I though that was better value but for me having Heroes to raid was more enjoyment than finishing the lab early in many cases.
For some that are casual and don't raid a lot, buying resources could be a better option.
It really also depends alot on where you are in the clash cycle. Spending 500 gems for a BoH to upgrade a 3 day archer Queen upgrade seems like a waste. Spending 500 gems to buy a Boh to book an 8 day Warden upgrade, a lot more value there.
