    Can we kill off engineer th13 now? Yes it’s possible for th13 to outweight th12

    The current classic war algorithm might be good to some people, ok to others, and bad for those less fortunate.

    I find 100% fair matchup running 25v at 5 th13 but in other combination, it just explodes.

    I feel that if we can improve, then we should improve from good to great and then from great to almost perfect?

    I think it would be of great benefit if the classic war algorithm change.

    I would suggest the following:
    1) add penalty war weight so that any full or partial engineer th13 would be treated as max th12 defense and offense and walls.
    2) match the number of th13 at the top
    3) if not equal then no match found

    I have seen a lot mismatch where people are just taking advantage of engineering at th13, which we though supercell as killed off but not really.

    These are several ways to engineer th13 to get more on your side and less on their side.
    1) weak heroes with all defense dropped at max th12
    2) mid heroes, max defense, but weak walls
    3) max heroes, weak wall, mid defense
    4) max heroes, strong wall, weak defense
    5) max heroes, lv1 everything except giga inferno being maxed

    So you would like everyone who doesn't max TH12 punished. It can only be called engineering if it creates an advantage. I'd love to see the examples you give of "engineered" 13's across from my TH12 in clan war.

    Engineering hasn't been possible since the introduction of TH12. Anything else is just called rushing, and people who rush are only hurting themselves and their clan

    I war alot. I haven't saw one base that you are describing. Can you post an example?

    Since engineering is the generic term of strategically rushed, then yes it is possible..
    Some of us saw this soon as the giga didnt increase the weight with the jump, but there ya go..

    As for your examples..
    We can forget walls for weight, unless the roster itself is manicured.. The saving per base is insignificant in itself..

    Heroes.. Yep, they make a big difference.. But they are still making it difficult unless the war is big enough that they can dip far enough to influence the score.. In my view heroes win wars.
    Defences.. Once again, they count.. But not so much so, because unless they are missing altogether, the weight saved isnt worth having an easy to roll base..

    We are talking rushed accounts tho, rather than engineered..
    We are talking about the self inflicted weight penalty of a clan that insists on upgrading everything before jumping to next hall..

    Rushing is common.. Clans that max every brick isnt..
    So why should SC penalise players for wanting to hit top hall before they back fill as a progression path..
    It is certainly the best method for cwl..

    I feel they got it wrong by not weighting the jump from 12, but most here disagree..
    I also feel they got it wrong by only having a 10k buffer from max 12 to max 13 too.. but of course that could increase as more updates drop.

    I think the problem is like has been discussed in other threads. The new stuff is simply not weighed properly. This includes scatter shots, upgrade to l3 GI and dropping the new hero.

    In my opinion i almost feel like SC is trying to encourage rushing. I will say i do not like the OPs correction proposal. I do not want to force everyone to one build path.

    Your plan of matching same number of th13s would mean any th13 going to war that isn't max is hurting their clan. SC won't do that.

    What "engineered" th13s are you referring to? The rushed th13s seem to be a weakness not a strength in classic wars.
