I have a TH9 account and a TH7 account, and they're both doing just fine.

When I am saving big loot, for an upgrade, the TH goes outside. Don't think for a second that this means you have to drop down to low levels--My TH9 account comfortably maintains Crystal I-II.

As soon as I spend my loot, the TH goes back inside, and I can push if I choose to. Sometimes it isn't about climbing though, but maintaining a profitable range.
