“Truck repair” indicator on farm and “thank you” for repair

When my truck breaks down in the valley, there’s no way of knowing if it has been repaired except to keep checking back in the valley. If I repair a truck for someone not in my NH, there’s no way to alert them that they are back in service. Also, there is no way for me to thank the farmer who used gas to help my truck.

On the farm, the seagull appears on the riverboat when someone has filled crates, and I can send a thank you note.

I would like to see a crow on the valley sign or some other kind of indicator to let me know my truck is ready to go. (This would help even if the broken down time simply elapses.) I would like to be able to reward the helper with a gallon of gas. This should be possible even for farmers not in my NH since it works for trees/bushes and crates.

I think this is a great idea! I repaired a truck yesterday and thought the same thing, again.

If I break down and someone repairs my truck when I’m elsewhere in game, I’d love to know so I can go to the valley do a few more things if needed.

Otherwise, I usually just check back before bed (if I haven’t already fallen asleep) and I don’t have time to take advantage of the repair. Perhaps especially if a breakdown happens mid-delivery.

You are absolutely correct that this would be the better option. The truck breakdowns feel “wrong” for the spirit of Hay Day.
