    Thanks all for the replies to his thread. I had no idea Smolson had stepped down either.

    Whilst I appreciate that active posting does not, in itself, give an indication of how active mods are, the point I was trying to convey, I suppose, was that those giving active input into discussions seems to have decreased. And perhaps a wider variety of viewpoints and, indeed, ways of steering discussions, might give rise to a more engaged forum. The guys who post here do take notice of what mods (and indeed GASPS / Reddit Mods) say and it might give everyone here a richer experience if the opinions offered by them are more often seen and from a larger community of respected sources.
