Ringus: An Early-Mid TH9 Farming Hog-Cleansing Design

Good day to all

I have been used this base for 2-3 months since I reached TH9 and I do a little mod to this base.

It's was great when I have less resources as people keep sniping my TH

But yesterday sadly my 4 worker all are working and I have 4M gold and 3M elixir and 30K DE and I get revenged by a TH10 with the result of 68% 320K gold 239K elixir and 1.4K DE lost

I satisfied this base btw, I'm a rushed TH9 with now TH8 defenses so I will just continue use it

Future I upgraded to TH10, I will also use the Ringus TH10

No reason, just because Ringus is awesome!

Just a feedback on the base
After a couple of wars, I was still not attacked often
Someone attacked with Balloonion and got 80% with 1 star, I was proud of this

Now we're in a war against a pretty tough clan and I was attacked already by a TH 10 using Hogs
He got away with 100%, and he also 3 star'd another Anti-Hog base.

I do understand that an expert Hog user can tear the base apart, but I'm obviously not extremely satisfied with my experience with this base

Thanks for the feedback. I do read it all, even though I don't have time to give extensive replies. Not being TH9 anymore makes it impossible for me to do any real changes because I can't test them. I'm amazed Ringus is still be used to be honest. I certainly couldn't foresee that back in January when I started this post.

In other news the Azure family have created a temporary popup clan called "Azure Blur". Please stop by if you want the game's best troops in your Clan Castle, want to talk strategy (a few of Azure's best hit 4k recently) or express an interest in the new Azure clan opening soon, "Azure Depths", which will be a TH8+ all war all the time clan. As with all Azure clan we are strictly 18+. I'll be regularly visiting over the next few days too with camps full of all sorts of rubbish to hand out.

I've used this base design since I began town hall 9 at a very premature state. I've now surpassed a maxed th8 defenses and I can see the base working a lot more efficiently. Every maxed th9 in my clan uses this base it really is the best th9 base even though it's so widely used.

Thank you man for the awesome design. Hopefully before Christmas I'll be able to use your th10 base.

A few people have been asking me if Ringus is cool for Clan Wars. To be honest, I have no idea as I've never used it. A few reports here have been positive though.

However, if I were a TH9 in CW I would use this...



I don't remember where I saw it first. I tweaked the layout to make the ring more robust. The weaker buildings are closer to the middle to try and prevent the 50%. The storages are used to protect those precious Air Defences. This was the only TH9 design I ever saw that really protects the Clan Castle. It is so hard to get the troops out of there as the ring of defences reside beyond its radius. In Clan Wars where the CC is reset on each attack it firmly holds its position as your most important defence.

This was the best trophy winning base I used at TH9, and trust me I tried a lot. I'm still adamant that you need a ring base at TH9. The trick is making one that stands up to as many compositions as possible.

Is anyone using this base right now for CWs? If yes please post a screenshot of it here because I am stupid and can't copy from this picture. I can also visit your clan to take a screenshot. I have been using many different bases in war without any success.

PS: My base is far from premmie, I have almost maxed defenses and and 209 level 9 walls.
