Still waiting for an larger attack than throphy attack on my TH, currently farming arround 1500-1800 throphy's since I am upgrading 5 defence.

peabak how do you capture those attacks in movies?

    hey peabak,

1st of all, what a great thread. I really love the ringus design. Even though I'm a fairly early, underleved th9, I started using your design. Im farming in 1500 - 1700 trophy range, so not very afraid of a hog attack, but giant/healer kobo is quite common. And it already did a great job.
This morning I've seen your approach of a throphy version, but as you mentioned some posts ago, weak point is the lurable cc.
So I tried to modify it to an unlurable cc.
I hope I respected all the "ringus" rules and I think I didn't break the ring.
I left 2 point defences outside, you can put there whatever you are upgrading.
Had some walls left, placed them around the spring traps, to really guide the way into the traps.
In the core you have some place for a fully maxed tessla, if you got it already, which could be a nice surprise. If you are upgrading tesslas, just leave them where they are.

Perhaps you can have a look at it, and tell me your opinion.

At the moment I'am farming, but the TH snipers are quite annoying, so perhaps I might switch to that.

If you wanna have a look at my village, it would be an honour.

I use Reflector (http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/) between a MacBook Pro and an iPhone.

The ring is intact. As much as I dislike the off-center CC I think it is preferable to the off-center Town Hall. Balloonians with Heal & Rage could reach the Town Hall much easier. That said, I'm not a trophy person, so what do I know? I'm a 1600-2600 farmer and the exposed Town Hall has always worked best. The Trophy Ringus is just something I'm trying out whilst these Teslas are upgrading. The farming Ringus is the one I recommend if you are between 1600-2600.

The problem with doing that is you've told the attacker where those double Giant Bombs are. Leaving the blank space there is an important distraction. Even if you know the base you still might guess wrong.

Right. I used my extra walls to put those inside the Elixir compartments.

Those TH snipers are saving your loot. With the TH inside I got frustrated waking up to a string of defensive wins but resource losses. For me below Masters, a farming layout has been best. That said, you play how you want.

As you know, you're quite premature. I would get those Wizard Towers & Air Defence levelled up.

Hey peabak, just wanted to chime in that I've been using a very slightly modified version of your Tesla-centric prototype base #2 and it has been doing a fantastic job of keeping the storages taken down to a minimum, and most importantly, it's protecting my DE storage better than any base I have ever used before, so thanks!

    Giant+Healer attacks: failed
    Hog attacks: failed
balloonion attacks: mostly failed, one semi-success
Giants+wizards+14wb+heroes+3rage+1lightning: one gold storage, one elixir storage, DE storage (most successful attack so far)

Good to hear. Nice to see it in the flesh too. Be careful of those jumps between your X-Bows and the Mortars. That looks a little close to me. If you look back at the sketch I had 'fluff' items there. But if it's working for you, then that's grand.

    Thanks for posting.

Another win for the trophy Ringus...

Opponents are much more skilled here in Crystal 1 at luring the Clan Castle troops out. The string of hogs followed the ring perfectly. Lots of Spring Traps firing. The double Giant Bomb on the left (1m28s) is a joy to watch.

Great défense, and thanks a lot for your feedback.

I modified the trophy base as you mentioned, speaking of walls, and hidden bombs. I slightly modified the layout, now the tesslas are placed a bit differently.
During the night I will place th outside and during the day I will put it inside, just to see how it goes. During the day I'm on quite often and can recharge x bow and refill cc.

So thanks for that great base, and keep up posting the great reviews, and news.
    👍
