Just logged on to see a level 133 th sniped me for 4 trophies while hes clearly farming in crystal 2 which confused me for a bit. Then i came on to read more discussion in this thread as i do daily since seeing it and I saw you talking about Moe being the Azure Sky leader! I was like heyyyy the person that just attacked me was named Moe as well. So i raced back to my game to check the defense, since clearly it couldn't be the same Moe...It was Moe from Azure Sky giving me a little love tap since I am using your design which I love by the way! Tell him it made my day seeing him attack me as I'm a huge fan of you guys and always wanted to be in one of the sky clans one day!

So just to clarify. A design which I posted here 3 days ago and adopted in-game by (being generous here) maybe 5-6 people has been attacked by my Clan Leader twice. What are the crazy chances of that?

Fair enough.I'm no expert either! I try things out, watch the replays and adjust accordingly. The ring concept works well against all defence-led troops (DLT). Hogs are the most prolific and dangerous of this group. The storages exist in the middle layer to act as a buffer of 'fluff' which the DLT cannot cross easily. The more space I'd reserve in the core for storages the less spots I'd have for those crucial defence items which I'm relying on for defence.
You need good air cover in the core to stop Mass Dragons and Balloonians from crushing you.
Also, promoting the design as Anti-hog sounds better than Anti-defence-led-troop.
I think you may be on to something. Anyways thanks alot for the design, its undefeated so far in actual attacks

Thanks for ur work and this thread, i think it took some time for that and thats not self-evident.
i am asking myself if i should guve it a try as I am a really eraly th9 and have atm a base which splits any section of storages , so i have 4 compartments with 2 storages in it.
Would you mind taking look at my base nd tell me if using ur base would be useful?

Your trophies are really high (1967) for someone with so many defences upgrading. I think hogs/balloonions would pull your base apart quite easily. Weather Ringus would help or not I think you should drop to around 1600-1700 until you get your X-Bows fully levelled.
Could Ringus be useful? I think so. Replace upgrading X-Bows in the core with Mortars maybe. Try different things out. See how it goes.

when I'm in this trophy range u mentioned, I am often unlucky with finding a good raid. when I'm in 1900s i click 10-20 times till an inactive shows up so i can easy raid 250-400 k.
i dont bother a raid against me cause i wont be offline for a few hours now, and 1 mill of each / h is easy up here.
I meant just in case that we ignore the fact that I'm upgrading 3 defences in time( have to, no choice) and we just look at the fact that i want to have a comparison if urs would be better at my stage of defences or urs.

35 Hogs took 23% of the base. Ring held very well.
This is a fantastic attack. Nicely done.
The curved line attack reminds me of Balloon losses I've seen. The integrity of the ring cannot be relied upon when attacked this way. It still needs a little luck (I've seen this fail too). The only mistake was taking too long dispatching the King and CC troops leaving not enough time to take the Town Hall.
The ease the CC was lured is one of the reasons I think the farming design is much stronger. My Queen upgrading certainly didn't help either.
