This is solely my own opinion and as stated just an opinion but I don’t believe it’s legitimate.

I honestly believe the clan play to lose, as rule of probability, should at least match up against a reasonably easier to win clan, especially people being busy with life.

So I’m thinking they are clan who’s losing streak isn’t legitimate.

It's doubtful they are fudged if that's the case. I find it quite a likely stat actually because once you have a long losing streak why spoil it ? I shouldn't need to explain how you can throw a war and still gain clan XP.

If you mean they are losing on purpose, you are correct. I suspect that is what you mean by legitimate. You are wondering who has/had the longest losing streak while trying to win. This clan discussed here loses on purpose.

I'm not sure you'd even be able to find this out. Defining "legitimate" first would be a starting point.

I can tell you we've lost plenty of wars when not everyone used all their attacks. But how many people have to not attack for it to still be legitimate? If nobody attacks, does that count? What if 50% attack?

This seems like one of those moving targets where nobody can even agree on what the definition of "legitmate losing streak" means.

Imagine your most dangerous opponents are the one that scores 0% because if both clan end up with 0% it will result a draw and ruin your lose steak lol 😂
