Clash of Clans on Android and iOS - Aren't the iOS users bored out of their mind?

Now I'm not sure if SC releases updates to the game simultaneously for both operating systems but if COC was released a a year earlier on iOS doesn't that mean most of the top players have been sitting on their ♥♥♥ for at least a year doing nothing? I say this because COC was released only a few months ago on Android so I can understand the limitation of TH10 but what about the iOS player base? On the Android pond we have hundreds if not thousands of players that have already maxed TH10 so how must the iOS player base feel? Have they really been sitting on TH10 for who knows how long? Perhaps I've got this wrong and the iOS version is ahead in game features?

TH 10 wasn't there at the start of the game, and we will always have walls to upgrade:eek:

The servers are both connected and barring gemming or abnormal amounts of time put into the game, max th 10 is not such an easy task. I have been on since aug/sep 2012 and am still in the process of maxing my th 10.
Maxed out - base and boredom.

How can one confirm that there is thousands of android TH10?

How can you distinguish from an iOS TH10 and android TH10?

There is only one way for an Android user to currently be sitting on a maxed TH10, they must have gemmed at the very least a large portion of the upgrade time, and imo missed out on a lot of the journey that makes this game so fun to play.

For me that joy of this game comes from the long journey towards maxing out ones base. I know many people would say that they want to max their base as quick as possible and begin chasing trophies full time. This is not what I want to do with my game.

While I enjoy my clans regular week long trophy pushes, that's about as long as I can stand pushing for the time being. By the end of the week myself, and all my clan mates, cannot wait to get back to farming again. If my base was ever fully maxed (most likely never gonna happen) I wouldn't really have any reason to play any more.

iOS gamers have been joining before and after android gamers also. It is not like all of iOS gamers started on day one. The popularity of this game does amaze me since unless you use huge number of games you can expect to use hundreds of hours playing a quite simple game so that you will have th10 and be competitive to try really reaching higher leagues. Yes, th2's or th3's have made it up to master and perhaps champion but I do not count that as being competitive if you just seek th's to snipe and any monkey could raid you when you go offline.

I've been playing for about a year with 5 builders constantly busy, and have never sat on maxed anything very long. Loot is always the worst at the beginning of a new TH cycle due to limited targets and loot penalty, and becomes easier over time for new comers to "catch up."

Also, as it's been said, there're always walls and heroes to upgrade - for those who focus on heroes (or leaves a builder free for walls), it'd take longer to max defenses as you're essentially running one builder short.
