Scattershot kinda reminds me of mortar the most especially regarding the inner tiles they cant attack but the difference is I would describe the mortar as a “glass-cannon”, strong offensively but weak defensively. I think scattershot should follow this philosophy, because by doing so it can help widen the strategy of the game and fix one of the most popular problem pros are experiencing, which is time fail.
By lowering the scattershot’s HP, it can increase the complexity of the how the game works. Players will have to think of a better base layout to protect the scattershot as a priority for defending. The lightning spell will sorta be relevant again as it will be used to take down scattershot.
Also, One of the main problem most of the skilled players face is time fail. I have seen so many pros fail at 97-99%. I think by lowering the HP of scattershot, it can save players a second or two to their attack and that small change can be the difference between a 2star to a 3star.
What do you guys think? Any thoughts, especially if you are th13?
I gotta admit more 2* 99% happen for the past months, then max t12 base I've been watching
But won't be sure what the problem would be. And SC will eventually balanced things out
- Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown
- Some would question if the risk was worth it. The Rest were already dead.
- OK BOOMER ------------------ 小舟從此逝 江海寄餘生
- Victory goes not to the able, but to the ambitious.
Why don't we wait for everything else SC will put out for th13 to come out first, before we call for nerfs on the new defense.
The spring update should add a level to archer towers, bomb towers, mortars, and maybe air sweepers. We might even get more levels on the aq and bk too.
No telling what else SC is going to release for th13, so we ought to wait and see before calling for nerfs.
Personally, I don't have an issue with the scattershots. They're just another defense to take out.
