in my opinion If u don't gem gold grab is a good way to see how dedicated a player is, I have 399m total so I think that is dedicated for a 13yr old who still goes to school.
farmers if u hate gemmers think about this. gemmers may not have much time to well lets just say farm, because they work etc. would you like to have gems? I bet you would, well I know I would. they work hard and get gems so if u did the same u would be able to, or u may have the money but not want to spend it on a game, it just depend on your goal.
I envy gemmers because they have something that I don't have.
some people say the level walls you have is how dedicated you are I have 150 skull walls which I have got this week because of school holidays and gems boost.
I had a goal of maxing all my defences for th 9 (just got teslas left) and I have really never worked on walls so don't judge me on that.
also some people just work on levels and go around and donating troops which I think is pretty cool.
others just try to create a good clans and become friends with people and stay in touch with friends and family.
it all really depends on what you want out of the game.
before you start to criticize people think about what they want out of the game and how long they have been playing.
