barrack-boost is now 20 gems for 4 hours

I just noticed barrack boost is now 20 gems for four hours.

Hmm, dunno.....I never have the time to play four hours in a row.
45 minutes suited me better.

I guess they did this to make the hardcore players happy again ?

Something like a 5 gem boost for one hour would be good for the more casual gamers, though.

On the other hand it doesn't really matter.

I can also play without boost as I did before

Already a thread on this, regardless, clearly an improvement. 4 hours is a bit excessive; I cannot see myself using it often, if ever.

It's obviously an improvement over the previous 25 for 45 minute boost they had.

I like the longer time of 4 hours more. Back during this special, although it only cost me 4 gems to boost my barracks, I felt the need to not stop raiding during the 45 minutes. Now having the boost last longer and be considerably cheap makes me feel like I can take breaks and maybe wind up taking advantage of 2.5 or 3 hours of the boost

Also 4 hours of 4 barrack boost + 1 spell factory boost for 100 gems makes me consider buying small amounts of gem over this summer and get some walls done. A really good marketing decision by supercell
