On simple logic. If a clan is stable, their membership isn't changing significantly, so they don't recruit much.

Even if you were leader you should at least get some invites, but in any event it seems this is a common problem. Some are reporting no invites after a short time, which is not a surprise, the system takes awhile. Others, though, are not getting invites for days or just plain not getting invites. I don't like the design (I'd rather the person searching have filters to narrow results) but even if we accept the way it is designed, it isn't working as intended.

Not a single account of mine got an invite since day one. There are some fundamental issues with this useless system that hasn't even learnt not to show accounts that are banned in search results.

Why do we get players that have "couldn't find a player with provided tag."

I got 7 accounts, in total got 13,001 war stars, 2 th13 and 5 th12. Leader of level 17 clan with 558 wars 363 wins so I wouldn't class my clan as a newbie. Maybe I'm so frustrated with this whole thing is because I've spent countless hours playing and building the clan unlike got leadership handed over because "insert reason here"

Maybe intention was to add something for the sake of it because global was going. If that's the case then it's working as intended, something to look at rather than something useful that actually works and finally learns to not show banned players months after launching

In last interview Darien stated, “tool is improving”. Was moving my TH11 (max heroes, few defenses left) after CWL and decided to sleep out in the land of the walking dead clash to see if I would get any invites. Had 2 but they were from my social friends who were probably thinking, wth is this active addict doing not in a clan. So, I thought I would try switching my invites from on to off and back to on. I’m two hours into it and not a single invite. Either no one is looking for an account such as mine or I’m not showing up on any list. Maybe it takes a couple of days? IDK.

Update...just looked, not a single invite since I tried switching invites off and back on. Hour 5 now. Plus the 10 last night. I'm done with this "improving tool". Oh for the days when you said "hi" in that which shall not be named and had a full inbox in 2 minutes!

I don't know where you heard that, but it was pure speculation on somebody's part.

There is no chance Global will return in any form in the foreseeable future.

There are some a good solutions for this.

I don't know if there are good solutions. But they must address the underlying issues which led to the killing of global chat. FYI, here's the official response for those who missed it.

Global Chat will not be returning. Asking for it over and over again will not bring it back. Creating an internal/private chat would defeat one of the main reasons why we removed it in the first place. We really don't want to have to deal with reports of people getting private messages of "are you female? Do you want a bf?" or scams of "do you want a free TH13?"

I guess these reasons will aply at the request for chat between clans as well.

Nah, I gave up late last night but did prove to myself that tool is not working.
