Are hidden teslas important?

I am currently upgrading my town hall to level 8 and i have maxed out defenses except for hidden teslas (they are level 2 each). I'm just wondering whether they're really as important as other defenses like cannons. Hidden teslas take a long time to upgrade and are quite expensive

You should max them A level 6 tesla can one hit a level 6 archer. ( Level 3 can one hit lvl 3 archers etc, except for level 5 tesla cannot one hit level 5 archer.)

They are very important at townhall 8 and 9, so yes it's worth upgrading!

Their attack speed also does wonders on things like walbreakers that get close to your walls before giants do

Yes hidden teslas are important, but one thing about them is they are hidden, so when someone is eyeing your base to attack, they can't see what level they are. A high level hidden tesla can really wreck an attack, so they are important to upgrade, I would try to get them to level 3 before upgrading your townhall, but it's not a huge mistake to upgrade your townhall now.
