Dirty Farmers!?

I just find it interesting how there seems to be a very heavy label put on whether you're a "Farmer" or not. And many times people seem to imply that "Farmers" are this sub par breed of players (Eg. People that pick on lower levels. People that exploit high efficiency raids such as collectors, etc) like there is something dishonorable about it.

Maybe this is not a wide spread view, and could be just a perception developed by myself due to the people I've been in contact with, but thought it was worth discussion.

My thoughts are that for any serious player that wants to be as competitive as possible... I don't see any other choice but to be a "farmer" until you get to the point where you are maxing out... unless you want to spend three years collecting your own collectors and trophy pushing beyond your realistic limitations (TH7/8 in champ is impressive, but your doomed when you log off lol) receiving sub par loot.

If a player wants to be competitive as possible he/she will simply buy gems.

It is the nature of some people to complain about people who have a different view than themselves. I have seen countless threads complain about gemmers too....not to mention De zappers

Ususally its the DE zappers complaining about farmers, because theyre the whiny type

Most people in there have stated that Gold/Elexir/DE loot numbers are what determines a player's dedication.

So I'd say it's the reverse than what you've said, Farmers are seen as dedicated players who put in the time to acquire loot, grow quicker and farm walls. They are dedicated players.

A good farmer, IMO, is a good player.

Indeed. and "dirty gemmers" is seen more often than "Dirty Farmers". Even Daddy feels bad doing it in his videos, lol

So glad i read this thread...all this time I just called myself a farmer, but dirtyfarmer sounds much more fun.

There is third category beyond farmer & gemmer....those sad lil pushers who dont gem, dont farm, and just run on the treadmill of gold/crys cup chasing until they quit in frustration and leave their abandoned bases for us dirty farmers to raid for our wall fund
