I dont know whether this ever requested or not but I wanted to post and know your opinions
Since we cant take any kind of resources more than our storage limit, so much resources are wasting during raids
I would like to suggest and idea to prevent this waste
What if we cant take gold from an opponent when we have full storage golds
Kind of protection
So if your storages are full nomatter DE,Gold or Elixir you just cant take resources of which you have full of storages limit.
So what happens when we need small amount of resources to get full but we find an opponent base that offers more than we need while searching?
Then simply we gonna get what we need and the rest will be protected if this is not that hard to implement in the game.
Well yeah but not essentially, this is the protection of resource economy
I do not attack opponents with so much resources when I am full of resources because I dont need more I just leave them for the players who need resources otherwise resources will be wasted.
And another thing I do is I leave my resource storages out of walls (when I am full of any and nothing to spend) easy to reach for Clashers who need resource.
(Btw I am not in Legends or pushing trophy they already doing this I know)

The amount you raid still counts for achievements like Gold Grab and Elixir Escapade even if you’re full. This can be tested by raiding Dark Elixir before you have capacity to store it. You will see it stills counts toward your Heroic Heist achievement.
For that reason alone, I’d say it’s not a good idea because it potentially prevents achievements from being completed.
I’m in Legends, so I get what you’re saying about loot protection, but on my mini, I will attack a base with a large amount of resources even if I can’t store it all, because you can’t brag about the giant loot haul you didn’t get or chose not to attack to be nice.
