Do you play the game muted

I donít enjoy playing the game with the sound effects or music in the background.

Does having the sound effects on, benefit in your attack or thatís just an opinion.

I play muted at my desk at home. If my wife heard it she would know I am not working and the honey-do list would land on me hard.

I always play muted, but mostly because of work and not the wife.

I keep thinking I should try it with sound some time. Hearing specific events occur during an attack could be a pretty good advantage, but I've grown so used to the silence. If it weren't for the forums, I wouldn't know what the Party Warden sounds like or the EAGLE when tapped.

I do multipalyer raids muted but try to do war attacks with volume on. Sound effects can have a huge benefit. CC toop trigger sound is one reason, you hear when your heroes use their abilities and die. You hear every air bomb blowing up your healers and the Giga trigger. All kinds of cues to help you along if you know what to listen for.

Wow never looked it at that way to use volume in war attack, but sometimes isnít nice not knowing if an air bomb took out your healer or she just got too close to an air defence.

Anyways I will one day remember to switch the volume on during a war attack and give you my feel if it helped my attack or didnít.

Every time this thread comes back over the years someone says that same exact thing and i cant help but giggle. I did play the game silently for the entirety of my first two years.
