Base Link Issues ‘This Connection Is Not Private...’

Hi. Has anything changed with the new update? Any changes to base links behind the scenes? As I’m having reports from my subscribers that they are now receiving warnings from base links (old ones too) that:

‘This connection is not secure, this website may be impersonating ‘link.clashofclans.com’ to steal...’

Link to a base here (for example): https://link.clashofclans.com/en?act...yT8x7ANtW7pGdc

    Any idea guys? Thanks

SC haven't updated the SSL certificate for that domain. If you put link.clashofclans.com into a browser it produces the error:
The certificate for link.clashofclans.com expired on 18/01/2020.

    Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE
I'm sure it'll get fixed soon

This is mainly a Google thing. They now require websites to renew their certificates. Visitors of my OWN website het the same warning, while no content van be downloaded.

That's what happens if you use SSL but don't have a valid certificate. It has nothing to do with if you can or can't download any content.

It is nothing to do with Google.

All sites which are secure (i.e. Https://) need to have a valid certificate.

Everywhere I ever worked, if the certificate on one of our websites expired and people (public, customers...) saw that message, someone would have got a rocket

Really not that hard to keep on top of, surprised a company this size missed something so basic
