Do champions face Masters?

Majority of your searches in champ lv is paired with master levels or low lv champs. The main difference is amount of cups you can win. When 3800 up you may have to search 1-2 h to find a relative good match of 6-15 cups. But in general you get mainly 1 cup matching and up to 3 cups if you are lucky.

Its logic because majority of high lv opponents are less but pretty boring to sit and click next 500-800 times.....even at 3600 takes time to find something which is worth raiding. You need to have a lot of time and dedication to endure it......or you gem anything that comes your way.

So is it safe to say, if you cant be matched with someone around your trophy level, that the cup range is extended ie 3800 champ player cant find a raid at his count so is paired with a master 1?

No, that is incorrect. It doesn't broaden the search criteria until you find a base. You will sit and stare at the clouds until you're told you have no villages available to attack. At 3800 I don't believe you will see a master one. I know for a fact around the 4000 mark you're not coming close to any master level bases.

Ur right, but as thorzain said you can be 3800 and still see master players.

The odds are very very low, and if you do, you're seeing a master one base with a 39/1 cup ratio. I don't know any 3800 players that are taking 1 cup a raid. Gotta go higher before that becomes the norm. So, if you're a master one and you find a 3800 cup base to raid, you're a lucky ♥♥♥♥. And if you get raided by a 3800 guy, again.... you're a lucky ♥♥♥♥.

What? I would love to spend 500-800k on searching for a base, lol. That means you cycled through 500-800 possible bases..... ain't happening. And what do you mean by "gem anything that comes your way."? What does that even mean? lol

At 3200-3300 I would get attacked by 3900+

You can hit retry 7-8 times but it recycles the bases when you hit retry. So it could be the same base you just passed on, as long as its within the 800 cups or whatever. After 7-8 times if you can't find anything (which is more often than not) then it kicks you into the clouds and won't pull up anything else. You have to return home and start again.

I think in theory it does work inversely. Just that it will pair you with the closest cups and the higher you are the less chance that you stay in the search query long. So for you to get attacked by master players, some champs would have to pass your base up, which isn't happening.

It seems you didnt understand my post/the meaning of inversely. I see players from Masters III when I am attacking at 3300 cups. However, it is impossible for players in Master III to attack me, when I am at 3300 cups (other than with a revenge). There is no "in theory", this is a fact, I have been to this trophy range and did lots of experimenting regarding this.

..... So you're saying that someone at 2600-2800 cups cannot be paired with a 3300 cup base when attacking? I think you may want to "do some more experimenting." Because you are wrong. lol, theoretically and practically.
