Do champions face Masters?

Hi guys noob question, just wondering if champion players ever get matched with masters players searching for raids in champ league...was wanting to know on a large scale.

From 3200-4400, any info is greatly appreciated.

Though I have never been to Champ, as a Master 3 I am often battling with those slightly lower or higher than me. So it seems logical that a Champ would be paired with a Master 1 who is close to Champ.

Yes but you have to be at like 2700

Yes, sometimes you will even see a Master 2 base

So is it safe to say, if you cant be matched with someone around your trophy level, that the cup range is extended ie 3800 champ player cant find a raid at his count so is paired with a master 1?

Yes in theory.
But in reality what happens is after 3700 you start spending a lot of time in the clouds and you often get the mesage Unable to find villages to attack, it's like a screen saver really.

Ur right, but as thorzain said you can be 3800 and still see master players.

Thats a 800 cup difference
