• [Question] About buying gems using real money

Hey, I'm new to this forum and I home this is the right section.

So my question is this (since I'm quite the paranoid type):
If I buy gems using real money, meaning providing my credit card details, can I cancel/remove the details once the transfer and payment is complete?
Also I never did this before, after I buy the gems how quickly will I get them transfered to my account? like when can I use them? Does it matter where I am from or so?

Sorry for digging haha, gotta figure these things out before spending my money.

P.S: An answer from a moderator/admin would be highly appreciated!

If you want you can remove your details, but if your paranoid (no offense) you can just use an iTunes gift card. Gems are credited with a few seconds.

Buying gems goes trough iTunes (apple). So its possible to buy an iTunes gift cards for lets say €10/$10 and then charge it on your account using the redeem code on the card. This way you dont need to give any credit card information. You can usually get them at tank stations

I bought an iTunes gift card online for my sister in law in Poland. I'm not sure if the physical gift cards are sold there though.

I heard it's not so safe buying things from games like this one, you can get hacked and people can buy things using your REAL money... also that it can take days/weeks to obtain the item(s).

Correct me if I'm wrong. I really need some gems and 80$ won't kill my budget haha.

Apk.... If you a are paranoid then don't be. Simply go to the gems and buy your x amount. After the transaction then you can remove your details. My mom has done it for me and the gems also come the second after you buy them. cheers!

Again not sure about outside USA but I now use a visa prepaid card instead of a credit card. So even if I'm hacked to loss are only what I had on the card. Cards range from Max. 500, Min. 25. I use 50 dollar cards.

Yeah this seems like a great idea, so I can like insert 500$ to the "Visa prepaid card" which is temporary if I understood correctly? Sounds great.

Oh, and another problem I tackled in... My MasterCard is an 8 digit card (which means it's only country-used), I read on the internet that I need 16 digit credit card in order to make outside purchases. Hope I'll figure this one myself!
