I guess I'm confused. If the loot is "always good" than why are you pressing next so many times? Just raid already.
I judge how good loot is by the amount available AND by how quickly I can find it. So IMO loot is good. I can easily and reliably (5 min of searching or less) find raids with 200k+, with 30% of raids being over 300k and I even find a 400k raid once a day.
I'm a TH 9 that farms between 1300-1700 within a given day.

Yeah i somewhat agree with the troops and theme as a whole being sort of similar with wow, however it is a lot different in the gameplay and with the millions of games out there on the market ther is bound to be some themes and concepts that are more likely to be made into games therefore some games will be similar in ways. However what coc has done is bring a dying Genre to the forefront of gaming and spawned some very obvious copycats and then some that are a little more original but still running of of Coc's great success

This I can agree to. I'm not defending anyone here. Some of the initial gameplay and screens used to mimick CoC (don't mention names... against forum rulz) ... down to some nitty details. However, that's no longer the case. They've evolved past where CoC is today, you just did not give it due diligence. You can't play those other games like you play CoC and expect to do well.
"but what Coc does it does really well and way better than any other competitor on the market"
How would you know that? Doesn't sound like you've seriously played it. The AI of that ninja game is far more superior to CoCs (path algorithms in Clash can't even compute distances correctly) ... The whole clan system is several years ahead of CoCs pace already ... Clan wars make the game a team sport and injects extreme level of adrenaline fun that just doesn't exist in Clash, and they've just started.
it was 3am and my mind was spaghettified a little.Haha.
To the OP, where are you friend? Want to drop by my clan, we could chit chat and I could share some tips on recently acquired farming spots ... and how you can spice up game. Theres a spot, I tell ya, where no one attacks you when you log off, and there are tons of resources to loot with barbs and archers. Send me a pm if you want. Cheers.
First of all, I never had the intention to pull out World of Warcraft or whatsoever. I haver never played it, and I never mentioned it in my thread. I call copycats the games like Battlebeach or Samurai for example. The gameplay is exactly the same as Clash of Clans, isn't it? BUT, this is not the point of the thread. By mentioning World of Warcraft you created a comparison thread of Wow and CoC. Great.
And about the second part of the thread, I realized that time I was trashing by playing is oltrageous. I'm not encouraging you or the players to play less, just a personal thought, really.
There is never a permanent trophy range for a specific TownHall my dear. I do know how to farm properly, don't worry. I am a max skull wall. And about nexting 5 minutes, you know that it's a lot of time? Let's say you skip once every 2 seconds. That is the minimum to see if the loot is decent or not. That is 30 skips a minute. 150 skips in 5 minutes. Also, what is more stressing is the skipping fee. I'm not whining about the skipping fee, which is actually good, or something, but 750 (Th9 skipping fee) x 150=112,500 going in 5 minutes is a bit stressing, no? Don't you pray Jesus and keep saying "please please please" every skip? Because I do.
1 raid, 5 minutes, 150 skips. If I play half day I do 10 raids.
10 raids, 50 minutes, 1500 skips. If I play the whole day I do 20 raids.
20 raids, 100 minutes, 3000 skips.
You know, it takes me 5 minutes to find a decent base as well. One raid might not me a lot, but play half day, and you trash away an hour by tapping next 1500 times.
Much fun.
Actually, loot is on and off. It would be unfair if the Loot System were the same as 8 months ago. One thing I've learned is that the game takes a lot of patience.
