OK - at the risk of popping someone's balloon, I have to speak up. *rubs hands together
You all know there was another group like this attempted right? They had great intentions, and it lasted about a day until Sneakymaori pointed out that any type of "form" post they used on the forum would be considered "spam like nonsense" which is against forum rules - he also suggested that since many members might be using this forum around the forum- the mods would just start banning people - instead of the normal infractions. I mean come on, that only makes since, a whole group of people using a form- how could the mods keep up? Banning was the only option!
Now- of course it's great to have help around the forum, especially in the. Idea's section. And the form that has been used this time is very nice and polite - much better then "READ THE STICKY DAMMIT". The new form is also very helpful for new members with nice links and all - which is the whole point - helpful to new members.
But wow, now we are seeing threads and posts are being reported because someone is not in the "group" and they are using the form -I don't get that cause you are all using the form! Naming and shaming is against the forum rules all- it's considered a personal attack- rule # 1 even- the rule sneaky was referring to with the first group is rule # 3-

Hmmmmmmm. So we have a form that could be considered "Spam like nonsense" and complaints/threads/reported posts (rule # 12) that someone is playing like they are in some group. I sure hope sneaky doesn't see this!
Let's just all play fair, we (mods) will check out the reported posts, but really all- at first glance this doesn't seem to be going to well so far.
