All trees and bushes that you plant have only 4 times to harvest then you have to use axes or saws to cut each down and replant new. After their third harvest your trees turn brown. You can then put help signs on them to get them revived. Another farmer has to tap the tree in need of help. Once you see that happen to your tree you can tap and it will again grow fruit one more time.

Tip: To get another farmer to revive your trees/bushes you can post any item ad in the Daily Dirt paper. A help will appear with your published ad and farmers will help your help signs.

Do not be afraid to fill your farm space up with trees. After grow time you can harvest and sell for max price in your roadside shop to make many coins. After the trees die you can cut them down and will have your space again.

you will want to limit the number of fruit trees to what you can saw down when they wither. Managing saws and later, axes can be an issue with too much dead foliage.

if you harvest grain (or any other produce) you can earn saws and axes.
