Argh,that man treats all five of us so poorly,he overworks us,makes us live in shabby huts.Well many months ago when I was young i was a lumberjack chooping trees in the woods, when suddenly I was captured,forced to wear a pathetic uniform, given a hammer and forced into a shabby hut where I was overworked.Recently since my evil owner has maxed his base, we have worked less occaisionly cutting trees and uprooting bushes,however it still hurts us living the the vile consitions we live in.Yes, we are in fact behind the 'builder lag' scandall, it is our was of fighting back.

I do not really advocate for builder rights, as they are just little bits of code. However, I do like that idea of no gems for a builder, but a happiness level. I'm not sure how it would affect the game, however.

Also, I think builders are actually made of condensed gems
If you think about it, everything in the game except for the villagers and the decorations are made of a resource.
i.e. Troops are bags of elixir in different shapes, that can move about, and are put together by builders. Thats why at the end of a battle, all the troops go POOF into drops of elixir. Same goes for DE troops.
Defenses and walls are made of gold, hammered into some shape that responds to different situations like battles.

So, as builders are bought by gems, wouldn't it make sense that they are gems?

Also, I notice you are not advocating for the rights of troops

If we were to get into that, why do the poor barbarians go into battle with no armor?

Perhaps not the best idea to change the builder system, but a new way to get builders is an option, but I think i like to buy my builders with gems.

And I don't want to hear protestations against this and you trying to guilt me into supporting builders rights, because thats a heinous crime, using someones goodwill to harm them.

I will consider a valid reason, however. Just don't use guilt and im cool

Happiness levels would be another reason to check up on your village, and make sure they are doing okay. This game is played by many kids, and a kind and light hearted feature (builder happiness) might encourage kids and bring more life to Clash Of Clans.

Builders actually have large sprawling underground complexes. The house is simply the entrance.

I'm not sure if I support happiness levels being a way to encourage activity, it seems a bit forceful to someone who is doing their inferno tower to level 2 or 3 and wants it over with.
Barbarians know what theyre doing, have you seen the one with the santa hat fly over and drop presents when the santa strike is activated? Unless he's hypnotized, i think he knows what hes doing.
The case that a regular barb knows nothing could be made, though. But how do archers do it? and wizards? balloons? theyre all mindless? the wizard trained for 8 minutes for pete's sake! if thats not skill, i dont know what is!

but whatever, obviously hammering on a building for 5 days straight is skilled crafting. i dont really care, im just playing devils advocate here.

With only a hammer, builders craft some of the finest weaponry ever invented. Some troops have quite a bit of skill, but I was only questioned about barbarians.

Other troops are smart and well trained, but they have warm camps to hang out next to. I still believe that builders are of more value than troops.

Everybody has a different niche in Clash Of Clans.

OMG! These are virtual builders. There are real people in this world starving. Not sure if this thread was created to troll us. First I had a good laugh, then on the 9th page we can see this has gone way too far. Mods pls close it.
