    New to CoC

    Hi,

I'm new to CoC, I've been playing Kabam's Camelot for the last few years, but they've made a real mess of the game so it's time to move on.

Three of us (more to follow) have set up on here, the game looks interesting but it's awful being a noob again!! If anyone has some hints and tips about how to set up when your new I'd really appreciate it. I don't mind buying gems but again I'd appreciate some pointers on what's best to buy when your starting out.

    Cheers.

Welcome to the game and forums!

For future reference, please do not talk about other clash-like games on here. Don't worry, play hard and soon you'll be a maxed town hall 8!

    Good Luck!

Don't spend your beginning gems and only waste one wizard to take out the townhall in the beginning. Use the rest of wizards to attack for loot. Completely max everything you can before upgrading townhall.

max out your townhalls before you upgade to another town hall or you will be stuck for months trying to catch up on your upgrades also max out your mines and collecters they should all be lvl 10 or 11

Well if you're going to buy gems i suggest to buy all your builders.
In the future they will help you progress a lot faster in the game.
    Don't gem your resources.
    Join a active, donating clan
Go farming (just going for resources and not throphies)
Very important: Max everything before you upgrade your Townhall.

People below me shall say more stuff that i can't think of right now

    Have a good day

    Welcome

Welcome to the forum/game, like most have suggested do not lvl up town hall till everything is max at that town hall lvl. If you do not mind buying gems the best purchase you can make in this game is buying all the builders, it will help advance you further faster. I learned the hard way by going premie th 10 I didn't have a mentor in game and I didn't check the forums like you did. I've spent months and a few gems to catch up 😁 best of luck mate and hope you enjoy like the 10 m + other people do.
