YouTubers will now find that they are required by YouTube to state whether their videos or their channel as a whole is ”Made for Kids”. This will affect the type of advertising that is allowed. This “new requirement is to comply with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and/or other applicable laws.” whether your channel is based in the US or anywhere else. In the US a kid is defined as being under 13.

Obviously if you intend your videos to be for kids then the setting to choose is “Made for Kids”, but there are other factors like who YouTube knows your audience actually is. I guess lots of kids watch clash of clans vids? I wonder what setting Supercell will set for their own channel? Perhaps we Clash YouTubers will just have to follow their lead?

Does anyone have any thoughts or further information on this?
