Then inform him now and direct him here for future CWL searches that he simply should not cancel search and restart it.
Especially in the higher leagues it can take a while to find a match but just let it run..
but... our other clan... no buts let it run
but.... my friends clan.... again no buts let it run
but... our last search was instant... no buts let it run.

That only seems fair. No one is in the 7th and 8th position to demote.

Your job to keep your leader informed lol. And there’s no comparing one clan to another... especially in view of the ‘anti-collusion’ clause expressed by Darian .

The base medal reward rules remain:
You get the maxed amount of medals individually by scoring 8 stars.
But since there’s less clans, the clan ranking will provide slightly more medals as basis on average.
But, you also get less bonus packs based on less possible wins (still the 4 guaranteed).

Medal awards are given on final clan placing.. They are a set amount, and provided the player gets 8 stars, they receive 100% of the final placement..
To my knowledge, there is no extra paid out by being in a smaller size league..

It is more difficult to score the required amount of stars (not sure if the required amount is less, it may be only 6 stars required), but with only 6 clans, at least nobody can finish 7th or 8th, so there will be less, or no clans demoted at the end of the week.

One of life's little mysteries. SC have never commented. When CWL started Mr D said that if there wasn't a multiple of 8 it would all be sorted out by the server. It uses 0-3 groups of 6 in the final match of the last 200 or so clans when the gate closes. But it doesn't use odd sized groups (in which not all clans could war each day), so there is indeed a question what happens to the odd-one-out if there are 201 clans still in the search pool.

I would expect they would just run extra groups of 6, since they guarantee everybody a war..
But thats just a guess.. If Onyx doesnt know, I have no chance.
