I can’t see the battle machines upgrade progress in days. The icon for the battle machine is covering the days.

Have you tried moving the screen/zooming in/out?
Also if you can't see it when you click on the battle machine, have you tried looking at the master builder task list (the face icon in the middle on the top end of the screen)? There you can see suggested upgrades but also what he is working on at the moment and how much time is left on this upgrade I hope this helps.
