Janilee, I checked in on my truck and no chicken but found one about 12 spots away and sure enough it was within 5 spots of a truck that had moved. So look for trucks that had moved recently and scour all around them (no more than 5 spots away) for a chicken.

I’ve found that since the first day I haven’t seen any trucks moving while I am in Valley. However, I was the last person to fill a screaming chicken task on 2 separate occasions. Before this valley that was practically unheard of. People are not only seeing them when needed but they are actually filling them. So my Valley isn’t quite up to “Ghost” status yet. Hope yours improves.

2 neighbors tried to repair another neighbors truck.
1 one could see trucks broken down but not name of then so headed off North to those but ran out of gas on the way. Did get close enough for fog to clear and see who's trucks they were.
2nd went in another direction and got to neighbors truck but was unable to fix it

I found one lonely chicken this morning. One.

I found my first (and only) chicken yesterday. So I have a new answer for the question: Why did the chicken cross the road? To see if there were any other chickens in the Valley.

My experience on people moving is the same. We are up to 28 chickens. All but 1 from folks in my NH. I picked up 7. Hickens yesterday and 2 today so far. Once I figured out they appear after a truck moved, I only have to scan around my hoodmates trucks to find them....usually.

I did find a chicken today. But I'm still the only truck in the valley. It really is creepily empty.

Way you were in our Valley. There are only 3-4 trucks outside of our neighborhood moving around as evidenced by where they are parked each day. However, they have collected only 1 chicken so far and helped on 1 task. We collected our 39th chicken this morning (80% from road stops).

So far it has happened to every one of us in the Valley in my NH.

I collected two today by doing just that...checking back in the Valley an hour after I last moved my truck. You may want to watch people from your NH to see when they move so you can watch for a chicken by their truck and let them know as well.
Thanks, I’ll give that a go!

I’m pretty lonely in my Valley. I play Solo, so no NH friends & seemingly no one else, I’m going to have to do the heavy lifting re the chickens if I want that plane! Just hoping there are enough to collect, so hopefully your tip will help. Thanks

I have collected 24 myself since the Season opened so you can do it! If I can do it, you can too!
